Become an Electrical Maintenance Apprentice with us - you'll get hands-on experience as an Electrician, and we'll pay you to go to college for your Engineering Modern Apprenticeship.


What You'll Do:

  • Go to Edinburgh College two days a week for your Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Help experienced Electricians fix electrical problems and do regular check-ups.
  • Work with our Helpdesk to understand jobs and update info in our system.
  • Help figure out and fix electrical issues.
  • Keep track of tools and order parts when needed.
  • Coordinating with managers, contractors, and suppliers to plan jobs well.

 

This apprenticeship involves a mix of attending college and engaging in practical on-the-job training. While prior work experience is beneficial, what's crucial is your eagerness to learn and your drive to succeed.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Nat 5 English, Maths & Science
  • Interest in engineering, particularly electrical and mechanical systems
  • Driving Licence (essential by the end of the apprenticeship)
  • Previous work experience in trades/facilities management
