Salary - £26,676 per annum, pro rata for part-time (£14.35 per hour)

Hours - Part-time, up to 15 hours a week

Contract - Permanent

Location - Craiglockhart Leisure Centre & Tennis Centre

Do you have a genuine passion for tennis and supporting players to develop their skills and confidence? We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Tennis Coaches to support our programmes at Craiglockhart Leisure Centre and Tennis Centre.

This is a great opportunity to work with players of all ages and abilities, delivering high-quality coaching within a supportive, community-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver fun, inclusive and engaging tennis sessions for children and adults across a range of abilities.
Coach participants based on individual needs and ability, supporting progression, performance and enjoyment.
Provide clear, ongoing feedback to participants and, where appropriate, parents or guardians.
Plan and prepare coaching sessions in line with programme standards and agreed coaching plans.
Keep accurate records, including attendance registers and notes on participant progress and development.
Review session delivery and engagement to ensure consistent quality and positive outcomes.
Prepare safe activity areas and ensure equipment is set up, used and stored correctly.
Work collaboratively with other coaches, supporting assistant coaches and providing feedback when working together.

What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience coaching tennis to children and adults in individual and group settings.
An LTA Coach Qualification (UKCC Level 2 or above) and a current LTA licence.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants of different ages and abilities.
Good observation and assessment skills, with the ability to adapt sessions to meet individual needs.
A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach, with a genuine passion for helping people develop and enjoy tennis.
An understanding of relevant coaching guidance, safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
