Senior Project Manager

Salary – £47,337 per annum
Hours – Full-time, 35.75 hours a week
Contract – Permanent
Location – 3a Carron Pl, Leith, Edinburgh
Are you a skilled project manager ready to take on your next challenge?
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of shaping and delivering our capital maintenance and lifecycle programmes across the estate.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the planning and delivery of annual and long-term Capital Maintenance, Lifecycle and property projects, aligned to asset strategy and organisational priorities.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent projects, managing performance, risks and outcomes.
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating contractors and consultants to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety and statutory requirements, including Asbestos management.
- Manage procurement and tender processes, including developing specifications, securing approvals and appointing contractors.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear reporting, updates and presentations to senior management and funding partners.
What You’ll Bring:
- A degree in Project Management or a related field.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Significant experience delivering projects within construction or facilities management environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors and consultants across complex operations.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management and reporting.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and explain technical information to a range of audiences.
