Salary – £47,337 per annum

Hours – Full-time, 35.75 hours a week

Contract – Permanent

Location – 3a Carron Pl, Leith, Edinburgh

 

Are you a skilled project manager ready to take on your next challenge?

 

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of shaping and delivering our capital maintenance and lifecycle programmes across the estate.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of annual and long-term Capital Maintenance, Lifecycle and property projects, aligned to asset strategy and organisational priorities.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent projects, managing performance, risks and outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating contractors and consultants to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety and statutory requirements, including Asbestos management.
  • Manage procurement and tender processes, including developing specifications, securing approvals and appointing contractors.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear reporting, updates and presentations to senior management and funding partners.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
  • Significant experience delivering projects within construction or facilities management environments.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors and consultants across complex operations.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management and reporting.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and explain technical information to a range of audiences.
