To achieve the key strategy and ensure the financial viability of the organisation we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to take ownership of our financial performance and development as Head of Finance.

In this challenging and exciting role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, supporting, and managing the financial accounting and business performance teams to ensure all statutory financial requirements are met accurately and on time.
- Monitoring the company’s financial and usage performance, conducting cash flow projections to ensure the development and execution of strategic goals and ambitions.
- Conducting robust variance and trend analysis and reviewing financial data with the purpose of developing innovative solutions and supporting the senior management team in making key business decisions.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, including efficient systems of financial control and other financial legal requirements, and identifying areas for improvement.
We seek a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact credibly and genuinely with senior internal and external stakeholders. In addition, we are looking for the following skills:
- An in-depth understanding of financial management and accounting with significant and demonstrable experience in managing large accounts, analysing data sources, identifying anomalies, and seeking solutions.
- Professional accounting qualification and direct experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow preparation to deliver corporate goals.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence, motivate and direct as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, including the ability to convey complex information in readily understandable terms.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, research, and evaluation of large quantities of data with the ability to synthesise insights in high-quality reports.

This is a hybrid role with time spent between our head office at Meadowbank and home working with attendance at our other venues as required.
