Which is where you come in. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to drive and grow our company-wide environmental and sustainability strategy. 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Monitoring energy expenditure to keep the organisation running at optimum energy efficiency while reducing carbon emissions to ensure long-term sustainability and financial viability. 
  • Conducting robust analysis and reviewing large amounts of data with the purpose of developing innovative solutions to support the 2030 Net Zero target and identifying where energy consumption can be reduced.  
  • Identifying and developing business cases for measures that will reduce energy and carbon impacts and insuring reduction commitments are met. 
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, schemes and legally required data submissions.  
  • Leading, supporting and managing the Energy and Sustainability team.   

 

We seek a forward-thinking, passionate problem solver with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact credibly and genuinely with senior internal and external stakeholders. In addition, we are looking for the following skills:  

  • An in-depth understanding of Energy & Sustainability, carbon management and utility management with significant and demonstrable experience in managing large energy contracts, analysing data sources, identifying anomalies and seeking solutions. 
  • A relevant degree qualification in the energy, environmental, carbon, climate change or Sustainability fields. 
  • Direct experience within budget setting and management to deliver corporate goals. 
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence, motivate and direct as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
