Sometimes it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.  In your case, it’s both. Because the person we’re looking for knows where to look for Scotland’s future diving stars.  Your primary remit will be to coach the performance divers in Edinburgh and attend both National and International events with your team, in addition you will manage the Talent ID programme.

Your time will be spent managing all aspects of diving programme – so you will need to be a born leader, a great decision maker and someone who makes things happen! This includes creating opportunities to grow participation, developing the service standards, co-ordinating projects and monitoring performance as well as managing and leading a team of coaches and creating a fantastic employee experience.

For all that to be a success, you’ll have to put your own talents to work. As a great people person, an excellent listener, and a natural team player, that shouldn’t be difficult. Using these skills to the max, you’ll plan and deliver Edinburgh Leisure’s diving programme. But first and foremost, as a passionate advocate of diving with considerable experience and a proven track record of working with elite athletes, your ambition is to work with a select group of performance divers and really raise the standard in the city. The flexibility to travel nationally and internationally to events is a must. Up for the challenge? Apply today.

Minimum requirement: ASA/UKCC Level 2 Diving Coach or equivalent qualification.
